I am disappointed.Yes, it says that it is not intended to cool an entire room, but considering the size and cost, it should do better than it does. Further:1) It's too loud.
2) The controls don't give you a lot of options. Temperature control is Hi or Low. Period.
3) The amount of hot air blowing out of the back more than makes up for the amount of cool air blowing through the louver on top.
4) Due to a possible typo in the manual it's not clear whether or not you can set it to both dehumidify and cool at the same time.
5) The power cord is a little short, and you are warned NOT to use an extension cord; thus, it's difficult to position.
Definitely NOT recommended.
