I just purchased my second Quietmaster and am very happy it. This machine is very strong and quiet. I have a large room with a hall on the side that leads to a kitchen and bathroom. It is very good at pushing the cold air all the way to the far end of this maze. This is made in Mexico and seems to be better constructed than the units I seen from China. The only down side is that it is expensive, especially since it does not come with a remote, however this is a first class machine.
