Amcor PLM14000EH 14000-BTU Portable Air Conditioner with 4,300-BTU Heat Review

Purchased a PLM14000-BTU A/C heat unit.
The A/C compressor did not come on.(no cold air) Called Amcor and was told there was nothing wrong with it. "Turn it on and wait for ten minutes" and it would come on. After several ten minute tries, it still did not work.
After three calls to Amcor customer service, I received a case ID number and was told that they would ship me a new one the next day. Ten days later, still no A/C
I called again,and was told that it was not shipped but they did not know why.They would look into it and let me know.A week later, still no responce from Amcor!
Called (6th time)after four weeks and was told they still didn't know why it has not been shiped
At this time, I do not want the unit nor do I want to do any business with Amcor.

Ideal for average-sized rooms up to 400 square feet, this portable air conditioner features a 14,000-BTU cooling capacity; a 4,300-BTU heating capacity; and patented evaporative booster technology. During the cooling process, water gets extracted from the air as it passes through the unit. Most of this water works to cool the unit and make it run more efficiently. When the built-in water tank fills up, the compressor stops running, indicating that the tank should be emptied (via the drain outlet). The air conditioner comes equipped with three speeds--two fan plus one turbo, as well as full thermostat control, a backlit LCD control panel, and a remote control for simple operation. Choose between continuous operation or the programmable timer, which can be preset up to 24 hours.
The unit also provides a washable air filter; an activated carbon filter to help remove odor; and a 3M Filtrete filter, which removes dust, pollen, bacteria, and animal dander. Other highlights include a 64- to 90-degree F thermostat, moisture removal of 80 pints per day, adjustable louvers to control air flow, built-in casters for convenient mobility, and an extendable exhaust hose (up to 5 feet). A window-mounted exhaust kit comes included; the air conditioner must be vented via the exhaust hose and adjustable plastic window kit. Please note, if the room has a heat source such as direct sunlight or computer servers, the coverage area may be reduced. Weighing 75 pounds, the air conditioner measures 16 by 20 by 33 inches and carries a one-year limited warranty and a five-year warranty on the compressor.
